Apple Unveils New Pink Phone

Apple has devised the pink Razr for the iPhone generation: Apple's brand new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus come in flashy, fashion-y metallic shades—most notably, a very pinkish "rose gold". The new tech includes 3D Touch, enabling viewing shortcuts in a whole bunch of different apps. The new live photo feature is pretty cool too, and Apple made a big point out of reassuring everyone that the moving pictures are definitely not videos, but rather an all-new type of futuristic photo that's sure to win Instagram followers left and right. And, because none of this comes cheap, Apple rolled out a couple different payment plans to make the phones more accessible. The 6S and 6S Plus will be available on September 25th, starting at $199.

In other Apple news, shopping site Gilt is going to have one of the first apps on the Apple TV. It basically looks like the same shopping experience you'd get on your phone or laptop, except on a huge screen with a fun-looking remote control, and you may be able to browse it while simultaneously catching up on New Girl episodes. From the demo, it looks like Gilt will be the only shopping app available at Apple TV's launch (interesting considering its reported profit problems), but expect to see more shopping apps jumping onto the TV experience just as they did with the Apple Watch.
