Taking care of your denim isn't a walk in the park. It's a dive in the ocean! Try the Scott Eastwood Method to properly wash your pants. It's the only step-by-step guide certified by the Denim Association for Men, Naturally (DAMN). You won't regret it ;)

Go easy,

Scott Eastwood

Step 1: Find an ocean.

Any old ocean.

Step 2: Take your shirt off.

This exercise is a communication between your body, the denim, and mother nature. Don't complicate it with extra fabric. (Yes, that means you're going commando, buddy.)

Step 3: Don't wade in. Leap in!

You have to let your jeans know that you're serious about this relationship–that you'll give a little if they give a little. Go on. Dive in bare, rippling chest first.

Step 4: Ok, now wade.

Slowly. Slooowly. It's not a race. It's a slow-motion amble through the waves.

Step 5: Get 'em a little dirty

Once you're out of the water (after aprox. two and a half hour of wading), roll around in the sand until they are fully coated. Here's a diagram I made of what that should look like for reference:

Step 6: Let 'em dry baby!

Let the pants fully dry on your body as you walk down the beach, taking in a sunset and remembering how your life was before this pair of denim (pretty terrible, tbh). Remain shirtless forever. Repeat four or five times per decade, or as needed.
