Juicy Couture's New Ads Are Kind of Cool

Juicy Couture had a great thing going in the early aughts, but the brand has been slipping fast since everyone decided it was time to put those hot pink velour tracksuits to rest. It was bought and sold by Kate Spade's parent company, acquired by Authentic Brands Group, and then exclusively stocked at Kohl's.

Nevertheless, the brand is still trying to stage a comeback, as is evident in Juicy Couture's Fall 2015 ads on Fashion Gone Rogue. The tracksuit is still there, but it's no longer neon or terrycloth (thank goodness). Juicy Couture pulled in famed photography duo Mert & Marcus to shoot the campaign, and one of fashion's most high-profile stylists, Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, put together the looks. While this is definitely a step up from the old Juicy Couture, critics of the ads noted that it gives off really strong Victoria's Secret vibes.
