The Cyber Monday shopping and sales bacchanalia requires some strategizing. A lot of retailers and brands offer deals and free gifts this time of the year, but some are definitely more worthwhile than others.

In the interest of being well, interesting, here's a list that includes some truly incredible bargains, some retailers that carry some of the best beauty gifts, and finally, some up-and-coming or not as well-known brands that are worth checking out. (Because if you're going to try something new, you may as well save some money while you're doing it.)

Sokoglam: This is the OG Korean beauty retailer's biggest sale of the year. Starting at midnight on November 24th through the end of Monday, November 28th, you can get 30% off everything on the site, excluding gift sets. If you spend over $35, you'll get free shipping. If you spend over $75, you'll get a free gift. And if you buy Missha products, you'll get 40% off. (It's a perfect time to try one of the brand's best-loved and most well-known products, the First Treatment Essence.)

GHD: This UK-based hair brand makes some of the best quality hot hair tools on the market. They're a bit pricey, though, so take advantage of 25% off everything (except the Copper Luxe collection) through Monday November 28th only. Go for one of the classic stylers, which allows you to create waves or stick-straight styles.

Space NK: Space NK carries many British brands like Eve Lom, James Read, and Rodial that you can't find at a lot of stores here in the US. They also have some beautiful gift sets. From Tuesday November 22nd through Sunday November 27th, you'll get $25 off if you spend $150 and $50 off if you spend $250 or more. (Excludes sale items.) For Cyber Monday, if you spend $75, $100, or $150 you'll get free full sized beauty gifts while supplies last from brands like Kevyn Aucoin, Diptyque, and Eve Lom.

W3LL PEOPLE: As more and more new so-called natural makeup brands are hitting the market, it's worth taking a look again at W3ll People, which has been a pioneer in this category and is better than ever. The brand is offering 25% off everything from Black Friday through Cyber Monday. If you buy W3ll People via target.com from Black Friday through Saturday, you can save a whopping 40%. (Natural mascara is one of the hardest products to formulate, but the brand's Expressionist Mascara is great and worth trying.)

Paula's Choice: The skincare brand beloved by Reddit aficionados is offering 20% off plus free shipping from now until Monday, November 28th. If you haven't tried the brand yet, go for the super popular Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant.

Rituals: This European bath and body shop has been slowly making a name for itself in the US. Its products are sophisticated and not too expensive. It's offering 20% off on Black Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Cyber Monday, it will be offering three items for the price of two on its bestsellers. Also, if you spend $75, you'll get a free face cream. The whole Sakura collection is gorgeous.

Make: This beautiful indie makeup company donates 10% of its sales to women-owned businesses. Receive 25% off everything on the website with code SAVE25, and use it to try the brand's coolest product, the Super Matte Lip Pencil, which turns any lipstick matte.

SW Basics: If you like DIY and natural skin care, you have to try this beautiful and affordable brand that lets you mix up your own concoctions and offers pre-mixed versions with a minimum of ingredients. It is offering 20% off sitewide from Black Friday through Cyber Monday without a code. If you sign up for the newsletter, you'll get an additional 15% off for a total of 35% off. (The Hibiscus Mask is a total winner.)

Ulta: Ulta is offering approximately a zillion deals starting online Thanksgiving day at 5pm CST. Check out the full offerings here. Some standouts: a NYX advent calendar that is normally $49.99 for $24.99 and IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes Mascara that is normally $24 for $12.

Bobbi Brown: Bobbi Brown is offering 20% off everything until November 30th, and will throw in free shipping and gift wrapping as well. This mini lip and eye palette is perfect.

Sephora: Sephora is offering eleven brand new spring 2017 releases for one day only. After Monday, you'll have to wait until their normal release dates in December and January. Check here for all the options.

Clarisonic: You can get 25% off all devices, and if you use the code CYBERWOW, the company will toss in free engraving.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics: Get 40% off site wide. It's definitely a great time to try one of the classic Lip Tars. (And check out our Facebook live demo'ing a Lip Tar look at the OCC store.)

ColourPop: One of the hottest (and most affordable) makeup brands out there now is offering 20% off the whole site until midnight, while stock lasts.

Julep: Julep, which may be one of the most underrated beauty brands out there, is offering a whopping 50% off everything. Pair the konjac sponge with the face cleansing oil for a beautiful face washing experience.
