Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As Style.com transitions to e-commerce under the leadership of hires from retailers like Asos and Net-A-Porter, Style.com's current executive editor Nicole Phelps just announced that VogueRunway.com will launch on Monday, August 31st. All of Style.com's archives will be making the move over to Vogue Runway.

In the post, Phelps writes: "Vogue.com has been reporting on fashion shows since Day One, of course, but we’re about to get behind them in a whole new way, expanding our coverage to more than 450 collections each season, adding international Fashion Weeks to the schedule, and bringing menswear into the mix. What’s more, our archive will extend all the way back to the Spring 2000 shows, and will include more than 1 million runway, detail, backstage, and front-row pictures, not to mention thousands of videos and the most thorough array of street style photographs anywhere."

She also names Lynn Yaeger, Sarah Mower, Luke Leitch, and Maya Singer as a few of the fashion journalists who will write for the new site. Style.com's editor-at-large and top critic Tim Blanks left earlier this month for the Business of Fashion. Here's a video preview Vogue.com released as a teaser for Vogue Runway's launch, featuring many, many dramatic runway moments:
