A scan of Target's mom and baby-friendly breastfeeding policy has been shared nearly 16,000 times on Facebook after being posted by the group Breastfeeding Mama Talk. The document makes clear that moms are welcome to breastfeed anywhere in the store, including the fitting rooms even if there is a line. Employees are not allowed to ask shoppers who are breastfeeding in the store to breastfeed elsewhere, and they are told not to suggest the restroom as an option.

Target confirmed to ABC News that the Facebook post accurately reflects the chain’s policy at all stores. "At Target, we want all of our guests to feel comfortable shopping with us. Our breast-feeding policy, which applies to all stores, is just one of the ways in which we support our guests," Target spokesperson Joshua Thomas said.

Back in 2011, moms showed up at Target stores for a nationwide nurse-in demonstration after one shopper was confronted while breastfeeding and asked to move to the fitting room. A similar nurse-in happened at Walmart stores in 2014. Brands like Victoria's Secret and Anthropologie also faced bad press recently for inconsiderate reactions by employees to breastfeeding mothers.

Here's what Target fans said this week on Facebook about the policy:

- "This is why I love Target!!! About a month ago I was nursing my daughter and a customer went and got a manager, brought them to where I was nursing( in the men's section with my husband, covered up) and complained. The manager apologized to me and explained to the LADY that I was allowed to feed my baby where ever I am comfortable doing so. And proceeded to explain to the lady that if she didn't like it, don't watch."

- "I've breastfeed in the display rocking/nursing chair they have in the baby section! It was comfy and great advertising for the chair!"

- "Thank u Target for all the Breastfeeding mothers out here."

- "Now I purposely want to go to Target and nurse my son just to see how they react."

Kudos to Target for their breastfeeding friendly policy. Other businesses should take note. Please share this everywhere...
