Shopping on Gilt's app is one of the best things you can do on your new Apple TV, according to Polygon writer Julia Alexander. She's making some bold claims after raving about the ease of Gilt's interface, which allows you to pause an episode of Bob's Burgers to buy whatever your heart desires in a few taps of a button. "Gilt, one of Apple TV's many shopping apps, has revolutionized the way we think of online shopping," Alexander writes.

Not only is the shopping experience easy to navigate, it seems like more fun than shopping off a computer or tablet screen. Alexander writes:

The app designers understand that this is a relatively new way to shop for clothes and, to make it even easier, have made the process practically 3-D. When you choose the item you're interested in, it gets magnified, with four different views available to the left of the main image to see how it would look from different angles. It's reminiscent of the scene in Clueless where Cher Horowitz steps into her satirically large closet and uses the computer to find the perfect outfit.

Your move, QVC. The home shopping channel announced recently it will unveil an Apple TV channel in the coming weeks.
