Chanel showed its fall 2015 couture collection today, 67 walking against the backdrop of a casino. Not even a particularly luxe casino, but a relatively accurate one, bad carpet and all. Gamblers, however, weren't your average, and included Kristen Stewart, Julianne Moore, Rita Ora, and Lily Collins, all of whom took a turn on the catwalk before sitting down to roulette tables.

Arguably the biggest star moment was Kendall Jenner's appearance, closing the show out in a severe bob and the collection's singular bridal look: a white satin pantsuit with strong shoulders and a long veil. Jenner's been regularly cast in Chanel shows since fall 2014, but had yet to take the honor of the final walk. House designer Karl Lagerfeld has a history of highlighting non-traditional brides, having closed couture shows with a white gown on seven-months pregnant model Ashleigh Good for fall 2014 and a pair of girls holding hands for spring 2013 (before Love Won and all).

As for the clothes, the classic Chanel skirt suit got a glitzy makeover in tweeds flecked with Lurex and adorned in gold beading. Oversize outerwear was shown over other daytime looks, including swingy coats with large lapels and no closures, and boxy military styles with shoulder pads, similar to the effect of the bride Jenner. For evening, some of the most interesting dresses had apron-like square necklines with thin straps, the very best of these done in jade green with sequined bodices.
