Game J.Crew's Sales With New Price Tracker

A J.Crew-obsessed shopper has created a price tracker online to game the brand's many sales and figure out the optimal time to buy items on a discount. Business Insider reports that the ThreadStats site lists every J.Crew product available along with its price over time, so users can see when prices have gone up or gone down. Search ThreadStats by category, or put in a product name or description.

ThreadStats also flags items that at lowest price over the past 30 days. Users can put an alert on certain pieces and receive emails when the price drops. The site, which is updated daily, is described as a "labor of love" by its creator. His original goal was to figure out how to get the best deals on J.Crew menswear, but then he realized that "there is demand for creating something that will help other people make similar choices."
