More changes are afoot at Condé Nast, and this time if affects GQ. WWD reports that seven people were laid off from the magazine as it turns its attention from print to the web. However, the layoffs is only the beginning of bad news for Condé Nast and its roster of titles, which are all due to be hit with staff reductions, according to WWD.

The next magazine rumored to face layoffs is Glamour, however cuts aren't expected to be as drastic as GQ's for any other publication. GQ has struggled mightily as ad pages in its print magazine have dropped 17.6% from January to September of this year and single copy sales of the magazine dropped 28.3% to 93,301 over that same period.

WWD's sources said that the titles affected at GQ were the managing editor, senior digital editor, entertainment editor, market associate, business manager, and business assistant. GQ's desire to build up its website reflects other changes at the magazine that have taken place this year, like GQ taking the reins of the Style Guy from Glenn O'Brien and handing them to Mark Anthony Green, who has been pumping up the publication's presence on social platforms like Twitter and Snapchat.
