Stuart Weitzman unveiled its new campaign yesterday featuring a triumvirate of beauties: Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls, and Lily Aldridge. The trio stars in the shoe brand's minimalist black and white spring 2016 campaign shot by uber-famous fashion photographer Mario Testino. To advertise its shoes, Stuart Weitzman shows the three in nothing but pairs of the designer's block-heeled sandals aptly known as the Nearly Nude.
The intimate photoshoot is meant to depict "the intimate relationship between a woman and her shoes," according to a press release. The campaign is no different than most of Stuart Weitzman's of the recent past. Gisele Bündchen took over as the face of Stuart Weitzman in fall 2014 and posed completely topless before wearing barely more than a blazer for the next season of ads. Before Gisele, there was Kate Moss wearing an open blazer and a swimsuit so as to not distract from her SW footwear.
