Nothing comes as close to revealing the subconscious mind of a celebrity like a good old fashion Twitter rant. But to really dig deep into these stream of consciousness public missives, we used the IBM Watson Personality Insights tool, released this year, to craft up an in-depth analysis of five celebs.

According to the tool's creators, the Personality Insights uses "linguistic analytics to infer the personality traits, intrinsic needs, and values of individuals from communications that the user makes available via email, text messages, tweets, forum posts, and more." For the purposes of this highly scientific study, we regard anything past the five tweet mark as "a rant."

Kanye West

The rant:

Kanye typically keeps mum on Twitter, but he's definitely not one to keep his mouth shut when he's passionate about a cause. Let's see what the rapper's now-deleted 4:00 am rant directed at fashion industry figure Fern Mallis after reading her criticism of his Kanye x Adidas fashion week debut reveals.

The analysis:

You are guarded and unaggressive.

You are empathetic: you feel what others feel and are compassionate towards them.

You are susceptible to stress: you are easily overwhelmed in stressful situations.

And you are organized: you feel a strong need for structure in your life.

Your choices are driven by a desire for well-being.

You are relatively unconcerned with tradition: you care more about making your own path than following what others have done.

You consider independence to guide a large part of what you do: you like to set your own goals to decide how to best achieve them.

Kim Kardashian

The rant:

With pregnancy hormones in full affect, Kim let the world know that she was over the BS the tabloid media was spreading regarding pregnancy with an eight tweet clarification rant. It caused Twitter to think she'd been hacked.

The analysis:

You are easily rattled, somewhat shortsighted and can be perceived as inconsiderate.

You are excitement-seeking: you are excited by taking risks and feel bored without lots of action going on.

You are melancholy: you think quite often about the things you are unhappy about.

And you are hedonistic: you feel your desires strongly and are easily tempted by them. Your choices are driven by a desire for revelry.

You consider taking pleasure in life to guide a large part of what you do: you are highly motivated to enjoy life to its fullest.

You are relatively unconcerned with tradition: you care more about making your own path than following what others have done.

Nicki Minaj

The rant:

Following MTV's announcement of this year's VMA's nominees, Nicki Minaj was dumbfounded when she didn't see either of her two record-breaking videos in the Best Video of the Year category. Known for taking her feelings straight to Twitter, she released a nine tweet long rant bringing up the racial injustices that she sees in the music industry, which was extended after Taylor Swift inserted herself into the mix.

The analysis:

You are a bit compulsive and somewhat inconsiderate.

You are unconcerned with art: you are less concerned with artistic or creative activities than most people who participated in our surveys.

You are intermittent: you have a hard time sticking with difficult tasks for a long period of time.

You are self-conscious: you are sensitive about what others might be thinking about you.

Your choices are driven by a desire for well-being.

You consider achieving success to guide a large part of what you do: you seek out opportunities to improve yourself and demonstrate that you are a capable person.

You are relatively unconcerned with tradition: you care more about making your own path than following what others have done.

Khloé Kardashian

The rant:

Khloé has always warned that coming for her family will yield a KhloMoney lash out, but she proved it when Amber Rose commented on little sister Kylie's rumored relationship with Tyga. A back and forth Twitter battle ensued, resulting in Khloé ranting about everything from Amber's stripper past to how she feels about her family's relationship with the media.

The analysis:

You are sentimental, somewhat compulsive and can be perceived as shortsighted.

You are organized: you feel a strong need for structure in your life.

You are assertive: you tend to speak up and take charge of situations, and you are comfortable leading groups.

And you are fiery: you have a fiery temper, especially when things do not go your way.

Your choices are driven by a desire for efficiency.

You consider helping others to guide a large part of what you do: you think it is important to take care of the people around you.

You are relatively unconcerned with achieving success: you make decisions with little regard for how they show off your talents.

Meek Mill

The rant:

Despite being in a relationship with Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill took to Twitter last week to go after her label-mate Drake, and his alleged use of a ghostwriter. He later apologized to Nicki on stage, but with a lack of apology to the rant's initial target, Drake fired back with a diss track.

The analysis:

You are a bit compulsive, easily rattled and can be perceived as dependent.

You are melancholy: you think quite often about the things you are unhappy about.

You are susceptible to stress: you are easily overwhelmed in stressful situations.

And you are unconcerned with art: you are less concerned with artistic or creative activities than most people who participated in our surveys.

You are relatively unconcerned with tradition: you care more about making your own path than following what others have done.
