Cupcakes and Cashmere's Clothing Line Is Already Selling Out

Blogger Emily Schuman's new Cupcakes and Cashmere clothing line has been released to the masses today via shops on Nordstrom.com and Shopbop. The line seems to be moving fast already on Shopbop, where at least one romper has already sold out. On Nordstrom, there were some technical difficulties (the "coming soon" launch page is still live) but shoppers can still find the goods via individual product pages.

The 24 pieces available on Shopbop mostly stick close to a $100 price point, although there is a pair of leather shorts selling for $205 and a plain v-neck tee for $80. Initial reactions to the line on Cupcakes and Cashmere's blog have been mostly positive, with the exception of complaints due to the fact that the line doesn't include any plus size options—tops run from XS to L and bottoms run from sizes 0 to 8. In the comments, Schuman said that "this topic and request came up when we showed the preview and we're discussing the option of including additional sizing for future collections."
