If there is one thing that fashion loves, it's a good charity auction. Stars gather looking fabulous as ever on the red carpet, while nameless billionaires are escorted through some other door where there are no paparazzi. Who really cares about billionaires anyway, when you can look at Lupita Nyong'o, right?

Last night the stars gathered for — you guessed it — a charity auction where designers debuted one-off pieces inspired by Star Wars in a bid to promote — you guessed it again — Star Wars, that film franchise that Lupita Nyong'o is in. Some of the designers who contributed include Cynthia Rowley, Diane Von Furstenberg, Giles Deacon, Halston, and Opening Ceremony. It was a very galactic affair indeed.

Stealing both the red carpet and the actual event was Lupita Nyong'o, who wore a one of a kind Zac Posen black mesh dress with multicolored flecks that actually light up. She managed to look like she was from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
