Angelina Jolie Stuns and Brad Pitt Looks Like a Dad at 'By the Sea' Premiere

As previously noted here on Racked, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are a beautiful couple. The actor couple's newest venture By The Sea sees them channel this beauty into pure tragedy in a nondescript seaside town or city in Southern France, with blonde wigs aplenty.

The movie is set in the 1970s, when an American writer and his wife — of course the man is the writer — vacation in France in a massive, opulent mansion, but bear witness to their marriage breaking down. Once can assume the solitude of a giant house causes them to confront their demons, which include pill popping, crying, kicking, and more pill popping. The film was "inspired by European cinema and theater of the '60s and '70s," according to the trailer's YouTube page.

Last night, the film premiered in New York City, and the couple opted for rather low-key outfits. Jolie wore a minimalist powder blue chiffon dress with sheer sleeves and nude heels, sealing it all with a "no makeup makeup" look. A clean shaven Pitt, on the other hand has officially ventured into "dad" territory with that flat cap and tinted glasses combo. The formal petition for the return of the beard will circulate in due time.
