Everything had gone off without a hitch at Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop pop-up shop in NYC. The store was meticulously designed and carried racks of the actress's collaboration with Valentino. However, in a very un-Goopy move, three robbers entered the store and stole — Paltrow would prefer to say unconsciously uncoupled with — $173,465 worth of merchandise, People reports.

The three men stole the items by breaking into a large cabinet of merchandise. They were spotted by staff members, who alerted the police, but authorities didn't get to the scene quickly enough to stop them. If caught, the thieves will face grand larceny charges.

Goop issued the following statement to People on the matter: "There was an isolated incident Saturday afternoon involving a very limited number of items, which was reported to the NYPD. While the store was crowded during one of our busiest days, thankfully the NYPD responded quickly, our customers and staff are safe, and we remain open for business with proper security precautions in place."

Paltrow's Goop Mrkt officially opened its doors in New York on November 23rd and will carry on with business until December 24th.

Update: New York blog DNAinfo lists exactly was stolen in the Goop heist. Robbers made off with a vintage 18-karat yellow Bulgari yellow bracelet valued at a whopping $106,250, an 18-karat David Weiss bracelet valued at $43,750, and three men’s Rolex watches valued at more than $20,000 altogether. So it wasn't like three jars of eye cream and a fancy incense burner, ok?
