Goop has its own skincare line in the works, according to the company CEO Lisa Gersh. The brand has hinted at launching branded products in the past, but Gersh gave more details on Goop's plans during a talk at the Fashion Tech Forum, an all-day conference in NYC.

"People like to shop on Goop because it's an incredibly curated experience," Gersh said. The skincare line will be a direct-to-consumer program instead of through an outside retailer, just like how Into The Gloss's beauty line, Glossier, is set up. Gersh confirmed that the products will launch next January.

When asked to name which brands have excelled at e-commerce, Gersh pointed to how well Into The Gloss is doing. The site's newly-launched line of skincare products isn't even a year old but founder Emily Weiss is already considering brick-and-mortar shops for Glossier.
