One Direction may be the closest thing today's tweens have to the glory days of *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, but they've always been missing one very important thing: Elaborate choreographed dance routines while wearing matching jean jackets.

On last night's episode of the Late Late Show with James Corden, its host finally supplied One Direction with the true hallmark of the boy bands of decades past. Harry, Niall, Liam, and Louis each received matching denim shirts, as well as a dance routine to their song "No Control."

He also asked them the question the world deserved an answer to: "Boy bands, when I as growing up, would always do dance routines and wear the same clothes. You've really kicked against that — why?"

"None of us dance," Harry Styles responds bluntly. Well, not anymore, Harry. Skip ahead to the 5:50 minute mark to see the magic happen.
