J.Crew has teamed with Pierre Le-Tan, illustrator and father of designer Olympia Le-Tan who creates whimsical purses, for a cutesy collab perfect for the holiday season, according to Vogue. The collaboration actually comes out as part of Design Miami, the design-minded arm of art fair Art Basel. J.Crew worked with Le-Tan on a number of different accessories, including handkerchiefs, clutches, totes, planners, umbrellas, socks, silk scarves and makeup bags.

The accessories all feature an all-over print of Le-Tan's Miami-inspired illustrations. There are tiny and adorable drawings of sunglasses, alligators, art-deco style houses, sunglasses, speed boats, bikini-clad women, sharks, tropical drinks, and flamingos. The accessories made for J.Crew mirror the cartoonish concept that spurs Olympia Le-Tan book purses, but the design is closer to that of the artist's famed The New Yorker covers.

Of the collaboration, Le-Tan tells Vogue, "Design Miami has a very interesting mixture of contemporary and 20th-century decorative art, which has always been an inspiration in my work."

Select pieces from the collaboration are already up for pre-order at J.Crew's website and priced from $19.50 for the notebook to $49.50 for the clutch. The collaboration will also be on sale at Design Miami December 2nd to 6th.
