An Official Ranking of Scott Disick's Saddest Instagram Posts

New, 1 comment

Wedged between the carshomes, and planes that Scott Disick wants are the Instagram ads that push the former reality star closer to his dreams. The Lord's form of "paying the bills" is not very covert, often outwardly peddling a product one can imagine Scott—or anyone else—has never even used. Here now, we have the official ranking of Scott "The Lord" Disick's saddest Instagram ads.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Scott's very unconvincing Instagram ad for Tiger Nuts features the product at the very bottom of the frame. It's only made sadder with its accompanied hashtags: #healthy #weightloss #fiber #paleo.

10.

The above ad actually isn't painfully sad. Disick has encountered this "young company" that is "killing it," therefore he just "had to support." Since Scott is holding a cigar in-between his fingers, the post still seems like the Scott we know.

9.

While most of his Instagram posts make you want to give him a big hug, this one does not. It's unclear if any money was exchanged for the post, since Disick did not capitalize the F in Ford nor did he tag the brand, making it slightly less sad.

8.

Although it is not among his most sad, Scott Disick's gentle promotion of the Wildfox fashion show over a year ago was random, especially since the brand doesn't make clothing for men.

7.

What makes this ad a little upsetting is the blurriness of the bottle in the photo and Scott's confession in the caption, which reveals, "The Lord loves his coffee and body." Also, his eyes. They're so soulless.

6.

In the caption for this Instagram ad, Scott alludes to an "office" and "meetings" that he can whiten teeth at and in-between.

5.

Scott's ads for the infamous TeaToxes have to be among the saddest. In this particular one, where the product is placed on the back of some luxury vehicle, Disick even tags the brand twice, making it a little extra sad.

4.

After a few weeks of being dumped, Scott looks exhausted. He hasn't shaved his beard, and can't even muster up a smile for the ad about teeth whitening.

3.

What gives this particular ad a little extra kick of sadness is that Scott appears to be hanging out by the sink at a frigid car dealership. To make matters worse, that sink most likely doesn't even provide hot water. It's almost too much to bear.

2.

The blue light hitting Scott's face, the slight blurriness, and the lack of smile makes this a pretty sad Instagram ad.

1.

An ad for Burger King's chicken fries is Scott's saddest. The image of blurry Burger King boxes in a Louis Vuitton duffel would be sad no matter whose Instagram it was posted on, but on Scott's? Just take me, black void. Take me.
