’Tis the season for holiday ads. Fashion brands from H&M to Chanel have released special campaigns just for gifting season. With presents in mind, brands tend to push categories like watches, fragrance, beauty, jewelry, and handbags this time of year, all with either a feel-good-family spin or an amped-up-romance angle. 'Tis the season to meet Q4 sales projections, after all.
Themes this year range from Tommy Hilfiger’s family-round-the-Christmas-tree group shots and Max Mara’s jolly illustrations to Nasty Gal’s glittery New Year's fiesta and Michael Kors’s glam beauty shots. Other standouts include Coach's cute puppy campaign (they're literally tumbling out of the brand's bags), Katy Perry hamming it up for H&M, and Dolce & Gabbana's selfies-for-all-ages shots (including those epic bejeweled headphones from the runway).
