Much like the dude with whom you have an ongoing public transportation flirtation, Jon Hamm now wears clear-framed glasses. After debuting them on The Tonight Show last week, he re-wore them on Seth Meyers' show, then again to an event for Aziz Ansari's new Netflix series, Master of None. This means but one thing: The era of hip Jon Hamm in clear-framed glasses has finally arrived.

You may be thinking, "Oh, it's just the same old Jon Hamm wearing a different pair of glasses." This is wrong. Clear-framed glasses Jon Hamm is an entirely different person than non-clear-framed glasses Jon Hamm. For instance:

He manages somehow to look handsomer than regular Jon Hamm.

It's like he's Don Draper, but kinder.

Or a smarter Dr. Drew Baird.

Or a less sleazy Ted from Bridesmaids.

He is everything ever needed in a boyfriend, and more.

Hip clear-framed glasses Jon Hamm makes all other Jon Hamms look bad, and is the only Jon Hamm acceptable from now on.
