Gigi Hadid Splits Model of the Year Honors With Anna Ewers

Models.com released the list of winners from its prestigious Model of the Year awards. The awards serve as the industry's best barometer for who's enjoying success and divides the winners into critics's and readers's picks. The panel of critics is made up of industry experts like LOVE Magazine's Katie Grand, W style director Edward Enniful, and stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele.

The critics awarded top honors to Alexander Wang-favorite Anna Ewers, while readers couldn't deny Gigi Hadid's ability to be everywhere this year. Hadid was the critics' runner-up while Kendall Jenner took that spot for the readers. Unsurprisingly, the readers' choices were not that different from the most popular models on Tumblr.

Critics and readers were more divided on the breakout model of the year. Gigi's sister Bella Hadid was the top choice for readers, while the critics selected Lineisy Montero, who walked for Versace, Burberry, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, and landed a Prada campaign.

Lucky Blue Smith was the unanimous choice for 2015's top male model. You can find the whole list here.
