In Vogue's September issue, in addition to that Beyonce cover, expect to find a major advertising push from Target. The retailer reimagined classic Vogue images throughout the history of the magazine in a 20-page photo spread that recreates those images using Target products. It's called "TargetStyle, in Vogue," and Target enlisted big names like renowned photographer Tim Walker, set designer Shona Heath, and stylist Jacob K. Models Karen Elson, Edie Campbell, Imaan Hammam, Candice Huffine, and Veruschka Von Lehndorf all appear in the ads, which will be on display for the public during New York Fashion Week.

Target also made the magazine ads shoppable with Shazam, which uses visual recognition technology to also reveal behind-the-scenes videos. The magazine will go on sale early exclusively at Target tomorrow, August 14th, before it hits newsstands nationwide. Until then, check out the ads on Vogue's website with an interactive timeline showing Target's Vogue inspiration from the past 100+ years.
