Following the publication of her book Strong Looks Better Naked, which debuted to mixed reviews, Khloe Kardashian has decided to share more about her very public transformation. In an interview with Redbook, she admits that "once you start getting in the tabloids claiming you have fake body parts, then it’s like, ‘Okay, I made it. Now I’m really working out.’"

For those of you who have the internet, you’ve probably been aware of Khloe’s very documented transition from being the self-described "fat sister," to a fitness enthusiast, model, and a soon-to-be talk show host on an upcoming program titled "Kocktails with Khloe." She's been photographed leaving the gym countless times, and has featured pictures of her staggering sneaker and athleisure collection prominently on social media.

After years of torment regarding her size and constant comparisons to her petite sisters, Khloe began working out for so-called "emotional release." The now-blonde reality starlet reaffirms the grand fitness-as-therapy myth, stating that "when I started working out, it wasn’t about weight loss; I was going through a really hard time…" Similarly, she writes "thank you mr. gym for being my therapy… Mind, Body, and Soul" in a recent Instagram. It's safe to infer that Khloe likes working out enough for the both of you.

Despite the family’s fraught relationship with plastic surgery (or rumors of it), Khloe insists that she’s had nothing done to her body. The now-sage author used to have a different, angrier response to surgery gossip, essentially saying "don’t hate me ‘cause you ain’t me." Khloe tweeted in 2013 "People LOVE to hate…I did it the healthy LONG way."

Now, when rumors of ‘fake body parts,’ come along, the Kardashians respond differently. Khloe tells Redbook, "Kourney said yesterday, ‘I got so happy because someone said I had butt implants.’ And I was like, ‘Doesn’t it make you feel good?’ She’s like, ‘I really feel good. I’ve got to keep it up!’"
