It takes three superstars to fill Taylor Swift's shoes, apparently. Taylor headlined the Victoria Secret Fashion Show last year, but this year, the lingerie brand booked Rihanna, The Weeknd, and Selena Gomez as performers for its annual spectacle.

The show is returning to US soil after its stint in London last year, and it will air on CBS on December 8th at 10pm EST. This will be Rihanna's second time performing during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Complex reports, and previous musical guests include Nicki Minaj, Jay Z, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber.

Maybe all the star power in terms of the musical guest is necessary for this year's show. This will be Victoria's Secret's largest class of angels ever, but the brand's famous faces like Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes are out. In addition to the new class, current Angel stars include Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel.

Update: People reports that Rihanna is pulling out of the Victoria's Secret show, citing the need to finish her album. She'll be replaced by Ellie Goulding.

Update: At least one person is happy about the news that Rihanna won't be performing at this year's Victoria's Secret show. That person is former Victoria's Secret model Jourdan Dunn who tweeted (then quickly deleted) that she was glad to not be walking in this year's show, especially with the news of Rihanna's cancellation, Jezebel reports. You can see Dunn's deleted tweet below.
