Proof that opposites do attract. Comfortable sandal company Teva has teamed up with luxury jeweler Swarovski to create a kit that allows customers to bedazzle their sandals, Footwear News reports. Teva and Swarovski worked with Erica Chan Coffman from the DIY blog HonestlyWTF.com on a set that includes both the Swarovski crystals and designs created by the blogger.

Teva's marketing manager Lucas Martinez tells Footwear News that Coffman had carte blanche when choosing the materials involved in the collaboration. And the partnership between Teva and Swarovski actually makes more sense than one would think. "Teva has been doing DIY (#TevaDIY) activations at a number of events over the last couple years, and we noticed that people were always drawn to the crystals and metallic materials we brought," Martinez said. "So when Swarovski approached us about working together, we felt they would be a great partner in our DIY program."

The shoes kits are launching in-store at Nordstrom and online at Teva's and the retailer's website on November 2nd.
