Hermès is partnering up with Apple for a brand-new luxury version of the Apple Watch. Apple announced the news at today's event, stating that Hermès is designing three exclusive bands in brown leather. The Hermès version of the Apple Watch will feature a custom watch face as well, and the new hand-stitched leather "double tour" band will be available in select stores in October. Update: The "double tour" Hermès watch is $1,250, the "single tour" starts at $1,100, and the cuff is $1,500. See all the watches here at the Apple Store site.

As speculated, Apple is rolling out new Sport Bands in various colors including that (Product)Red band. On top of that, the Watch's operating system is getting a whole new upgrade which will reportedly be much more functional. The OS 2 system will be available to download on September 16th.

The cheapest version of the Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Sport, is also getting new metal finishes. It will be available in gold and rose gold finishes in anodized aluminum. The Verge reports that these finishes are the same price as the original Apple Watch Sport.
