Lenny Kravitz Will Bring His Love of Zebra and Leather to CB2

This might be the collab of our times: CB2 just announced today that it will unveil a collection made in partnership with Kravitz Design, which is the design firm of one Lenny Kravitz. "CB2 x Kravitz Design by Lenny Kravitz" is set to launch October 1st and will feature 20 pieces, including lighting, wall décor, rugs, pillows and furniture. The collection will be available online and in CB2 stores.

It's all inspired by the rocker and designer's memories of '70s New York club culture and the California music scene during the same era. CB2's site doesn't have images of the collaboration yet, but Elle Decor will feature a preview of CB2 x Kravitz Design in its October issue. CB2 promises the collection will feature custom patterns and "high impact pairings of lush textiles, leather, wood, metal and reflective surfaces." For reference, the Kravitz Design website shows plush couches, zebra print benches, and mirrored chests in its "custom furniture" section.

Lenny looks forward to decorating his vacation homes with the CB2 pieces. "We’ve been big fans of CB2 for a long time," Kravitz says in a press release. "Our goal was to create a collection of pieces based on my personal style and the things that have inspired me throughout my travels. This collection will appeal to a diverse group of people and we look forward to using them in future Kravitz Design projects as well as my houses in Bahamas and Brazil. The CB2 team was open to our ideas and made every effort to produce them as we had envisioned. They were great to work with on every level."
