It appears that the person behind the Matt Barnes and Rihanna rumor mill is the NBA player himself. When asked by TMZ Sports about the status of his relationship with the singer, Barnes entertains the idea saying, "Rihanna's my friend right now, so we'll see where it goes." When the reporter pushed a little further, Barnes even revealed that the "couple" has "Just passed the crush stage a little bit."
But Rihanna captioned her latest Instagram, which is a screenshot of Barnes in the TMZ interview, "#bishwhere #thedevilisaliar #shesnotthatintoyou #shesnotintoyouatall #shesneverevenmetyou #thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings #defamationofcharacter."
