Where, Exactly, to Shop This Spring

Now that you've considered all of the trends, colors, and key items to pick up this spring, it's time to get to shopping. Here are ten of our editors' favorite places to shop right now, including the fast-fashion shops getting it right this season and the best independent boutiques to find super special pieces no one else will have.

ARITZIA

Price range: $$

Best for: Versatile takes on top trends in fabrics that are a step up from Zara.

Don't sleep on: The vegan suede collection (trust us here) in a rainbow of sunbaked camel, steel grey, and warm brown.

ASOS

Price range: $

Best for: Super trends delivered super fast (including ample options for plus, petite, tall, and maternity).

Don't sleep on: Sandals from the ASOS's own brand which hit all the right style notes and are just durable enough to make it to September.

KINDRED BLACK

Price range: $$ — $$$

Best for: Quiet, but nice, wardrobe building blocks like vintage Levi's and leather bags from A Détacher. Oh, and everything they sell is environmentally responsible and ethnically manufactured.

Don't sleep on: The home goods selection is full of stupid-beautiful things, in case your home wants a new look, too.

NEED SUPPLY CO.

Price range: $$

Best for: An insanely well-curated mix clothes, shoes, and bags that are wearable and cool, never overly precious or sexy.

Don't sleep on: Need Supply always has the best edit of not-crazy Jeffrey Campbell shoes ('Bitsie,' a block heel pump in suede and patent, is a current fav).

NET-A-PORTER

Price range: $$ — $$$$

Best for: That designer thing you just *can not* go on without, delivered with lightening speed.

Don't sleep on: Finds houses an ever-changing selection of smaller brands with limited availability, and oftentimes they're on the lower end of Net's price spectrum.

SHOP SUPER STREET

Price range: $$ — $$$

Best for: SSS stocks the most wearable pieces from buzzy brands that are known for bold looks (think Sandy Liang, Moschino, ASSK). Also you can buy a new Palace deck.

Don't sleep on: The bag selection most certainly has your next knockout.

THE DRESLYN

Price range: $$$

Best for: The coolest contemporary designers: Rachel Comey, Ryan Roche, and R13 among them.

Don't sleep on: The jumpsuit selection is freakishly good.

TOTOKAELO

Price range: $$$

Best for: Any designer that's ever been gotten "avant-garde" as a descriptor. Your Dries, your Acne, your Margiela — it's all here.

Don't sleep on: If you're looking for kicks that are versatile enough for every day (but not blah) and made well enough to stand up to daily use, Totokaelo's shoe section really can't be beat.

ZARA

Price range: $ — $$

Best for: Knowing what you want to wear about 30 seconds before you do, and having that exact thing in stock exactly when you're ready for it. Trend wizards.

Don't sleep on: Zara reliably has the kind of outerwear that makes your jeans and tee look like an actual outfit.
