Spring’s Most Surprising Fashion Collabs Are for Your Home

There are four home goods collections out right now that marry smart fashion design with interiors, and the results are stellar. Even better, they'll cover just about every surface of your home, from dining to bedding.

Find colorful platters from Issey Miyake and Finland's Iittala, approachable mid-century modern furniture and bedding by Roar + Rabbit at West Elm, everyday tableware by Apartment Therapy founder Maxwell Ryan and Canvas Home, and patterns you can live day in and day out with by The Hill-Side at CB2. As is the nature of collabs, these pretty pillows, vases, and duvet covers won't be around forever, so get to shopping before they're gone.

Iittala x Issey Miyake

Find hexagonal ring dishes, pleated pillow cases, ceramic cups, and more in the home goods collaboration between Issey Miyake and the Finnish brand Iittala. There are over 30 items in the collection, all in a calming palette of white, baby pink, and deep green. The collab is exclusive to the MoMA Design Store, and will be available through May 2016.

Roar + Rabbit at West Elm

Philadelphia-based design firm Roar + Rabbit has worked with West Elm on their very first home collection, a collaboration with over 200 products including textiles, wall art, and furniture. There is a modern balance of clean, geometric shapes and natural materials throughout the selection, which offers $34 marble and wood jewelry boxes at the low end and a six-drawer dresser with brass inlay for $1,299 at the high end.

Some of our favorite pieces are the lamps, which take mid-century modern silhouettes and fills them in with interesting material mixes like ceramic, wood, and linen.

Maxwell Ryan x Canvas Home

Maxwell Ryan, the founder of Apartment Therapy and The Kitchn, has teamed up with Canvas Home on a tableware collection. His aim was to design everyday pieces — no over-the-top patterns or fancy dinner-only pieces here. Inspired by English creamware (the kind of plates and bowls the downstairs staff on Downton Abbey would use), the selection is versatile and classic.

Ceramic bowls, plates, and mugs come in a matte white finish as well as glossy grey, and fabric napkins ($14 each) and table runners ($70) come in off-white, salmon, and wine. Dinnerware prices start at $8.50 for the small glass and top out at $19 for the dinner plate.

CB2 x The Hill-Side

Following a surprisingly good-looking collab with Lenny Kravitz, CB2 is working with the menswear designers behind Brooklyn's The Hill-Side. The collection is hinged on handsome prints and patterns, like blanket stripes and a "disintegrated floral." We really like the rug in the latter pattern, as well as the selvedge navy bath towels (don't worry, they aren't selvedge denim towels).
