Adidas' Stan Smiths are so pervasive in today's pop culture that you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn't have a pair of the beloved all-white '70s classics. Everyone and their grandmother owns a pair (both literally and figuratively), including Kanye West, Céline's Phoebe Philo, and your cool-ass little sister who somehow manages to pull them off better than you ever could. The best part? They'll only run you a mere $75, which makes the latest crop of high-end dupes that much more hilarious.

In some ironic attempt to bank on their newfound trendiness, luxury designers from Alexander McQueen to Givenchy have turned to duping the leather, multicolored tabbed Adidas and selling them for up to $575.

Check out some of the expensive replicas in our gallery above and feel free to shop a few if you'd like. Just remember that nothing is more of a let-down than someone mistaking your $495 Saint Laurent's for the Stan Smith's their little sister got for Christmas.
