A blizzard just hit the East coast, forcing most of its citizens to wear nothing but decade-old leggings and down comforters as outerwear. But back in Park City, Utah, it's the cute kind of snow — that is, the perfect kind of snow for showing off your spectacular winter coat.
So it's a good thing that celebrities have all gathered there for the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. The stars' choices in coats can be divvied into a few categories. First, there's the highly on-trend puffy parkas, from Lily-Rose Depp's red Columbia to Ellen Page's Canada Goose, the mother of all fancy winter coats. Second, there's plenty of shearling, modeled by Riley Keogh, Chloe Sevigny, and Sophia Bush.
There's also a few miscellaneous celebs who have chosen to buck this winter's outerwear trends entirely. Alison Brie went Paddington Bear, Josh Groban shrugged and threw on a vest, Chrissy Teigen chose a gray wool coat, and Joe Jonas went eclectic or something. See them all in the gallery above.
