So, what makes an outfit street style photo worthy? Is it a pair of expertly cuffed denim or the exaggerated proportions on a blouse? Maybe. But if you've spent hours and hours scanning these galleries, you'll notice that sometimes, the secret lies solely in the shoes and the handbag.

The fall 2016 street style at New York Fashion Week is no different. Models, editors, famous DJ's, and bloggers took to the streets in the It-Bags of the moment — from the large saddle purses at Coach to classic Lady Dior bags in shiny new styles.

And don't get us started on the shoes. This season, statement ones like the metallic boots from Roger Vivier and the bejeweled sneakers from Chanel stole the show alongside those covetable fur lined Gucci loafers that have been hanging around since last fashion week.
