24 Hours in the Life of a Street Style Star at Milan Fashion Week

When Rachael Wang isn't being snapped by street style photographers outside of the season's must-see runway shows, she's using her progressive eye and her styling background in her new role as fashion director at Allure. Her strong attention to detail and unique perspective can also be seen through her booming social media presence with beautifully curated Instagram posts documenting her travels and her day-to-day life.

Here, Wang gives us a peek into her day at Milan Fashion Week, filled with runway presentations from Prada to Max Mara along with plenty of eye-catching pit stops along the way.

On Milan Fashion Week:

"The excitement surrounding Alessandro Michele's Gucci has reinvigorated Milan fashion week and has become one of the cities I'm most excited to attend. I love that Milan is quite small and intimate. It's very easy to get around and I walk as much as I can, taking in the gorgeous cobblestone streets. I try to squeeze in time to pop into one of the vintage shops like Madame Pauline every season and eating at Joia Kitchen, Europe's first Michelin starred vegetarian restaurant, is always a lovely treat."

Good Morning From the Duomo

"Ciao from the Duomo Di Milano! MFW doesn't officially kick off for me until I pay a visit to this Italian Gothic masterpiece."

The Everyday Essentials

"Beauty is in the details. Some of my daily luxuries including Trikola musk and Aura Cacia geranium essential oils, Olivine Atelier's Love + Roses beauty Mist, Mullein and Sparrow clay facial mask, Herbivore Botanicals Orchid Facial Oil from The Stell New York plus Lady Grey Jewelry's abalone earrings and my Prada invitation featuring German singer-songwriter, ultra-babe Nico."

Decisions, Decisions

"50 degrees, cloudy and a good chance I'll wear those ASOS pom-poms today."

At Max Mara

"Starting the morning off with a study on Dada, Constructionism, Modernism, and Bauhaus with women as the driving force at Max Mara."

En Route to Brian Atwood

"A secret courtyard I couldn't resist snapping off of Via Santo Spirito."

Sequins and Fur at Gucci

"A decadent close-up of Alessandro Michele's Gucci."

Arriving at Pucci

"Bonus points for correct spelling! Just before Massimo Giorgetti's Emilio Pucci collection, inspired by Slim Aaron's 1960's ski bunny jet-setters."

Feminist Realness at Prada

"It's a good day when my schedule starts and ends with feminism. Here is Stella Tennant at Prada embodying 'a juxtaposition of the allegory of women with the progress of nature' through 'unexpected relationships celebrating the strength in the feminine.' Thank you Miuccia."

Dinner to End the Night

"A purple potato 'Fake cactus' is the first of many courses at Joia, my favorite restaurant in Milan."
