Uber's getting into same-day delivery, and they've got some big retailers on board so far. Mashable reports that Uber will partner with Nordstrom and Rent The Runway on its UberRush delivery service. Other retail partners for UberRush include 1800Flowers, Cole Haan, and Google Express.

Uber has been rumored to be planning a big push toward retail deliveries. Here's how it works: Nordstrom shoppers will see a box they can click during checkout, allowing Uber to deliver their purchases in mere hours as opposed to waiting for the products to be shipped.

"You don’t have to be an Uber user. You don’t have to have an Uber app. Any business can use it," UberRush product manager Calvin Lee told Mashable.

UberRush is currently available in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. "UberRush is operational in three cities currently, but the partners that we work with have large global footprints," Lee said. "This is a new experience. What we want to do is be really thoughtful about the experience we are providing and make sure we get everything right before we rapidly scale the offering."
