Asos's New Bridal Collection Hits All the Trends

Asos' women's design director Vanessa Spence wasn't kidding when she told Vogue UK that there was something for everyone in the retailer's brand new bridal collection. It's a mash-up of all the bridal trends that's possible to fit in one lookbook: jumpsuits, crop tops, art deco detailing — you name it, it's in here.

We've known that Asos has had a bridal collection in the works for awhile, but Vogue UK has the first glimpse of the full lineup. Every piece goes on sale next Monday, just in time for summer brides who are still shopping around.

No single look from the bridal collection exceeds £400, which rings in at $567 at current exchange, and select pieces will also be sold on Asos Curve (though it's not clear which ones yet). But even though the collection isn't expensive, Spence insists that it doesn't mean that the retailer skimped on quality.

The bridal gowns won't arrive at your doorstop in the regular plastic Asos wrapper, either. A dedicated team wearing white coats, gloves, and overshoes handle all bridal orders, packing each piece in bespoke boxes and handling shipping through a premium carrier service, according to British Vogue.

By dressing the bride, Asos is hoping to capitalize on the success it found after launching a bridesmaids collection last year.
