There was no shortage of glitz or glamour on the red carpet last night thanks to the endless parade of sequined gowns and flawless beauty looks. But beautiful makeup and sparkly dresses aside, the biggest standouts on this year's red carpet were the statement earrings dangling from the ears of Hollywood's brightest stars. Each time the camera obnoxiously zoomed in on Saorise Ronan's emerald shoulder-grazing Chopard earrings or Cate Blanchett's tiered diamond showstoppers I could feel my usual jewelry-less self being dragged into copping something similar.
The statement earring trend may look incredibly expensive and unattainable, but there's a stunning pair out there within everyone's budget. If you aren't blowing money fast enough to shell out $8 million for Harry Winston jewels (we see you, Gaga), then try the beautiful tear drop-shaped ones from Alexis Bitter for under $300 or a decked out pair from Topshop for under $30.
