Wrestler turned movie star turned fashion designer Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson has partnered with Under Armour, WWD reports. Johnson will design a full product line for UA, but WWD is also toting the bond between the brand and the former wrestler as a "global partnership." In this capacity, it seems as if Johnson will promote UA's Connected Fitness platforms as well as its charity program for members of the US military, first responders, and public safety officials, UA Freedom.

Johnson's first line will Under Armour is already set to be in stores next week and will include a backpack and duffel bag.

Clothes aren't the only products coming out of this partnership, though. Johnson will also create original video content that documents the workouts that get him shredded.

"We wanted to empower as many people as possible to attack their goals, so we partnered with the best innovators in the health and fitness business," Johnson tells WWD of the new partnership.

Johnson joins UA's growing roster of celebrity athletes that also includes Steph Curry, Cam Newton, Tom Brady, Misty Copeland, Lindsey Vonn, Andy Murray, and Michael Phelps.
