Kanye West, international man of controversy, debuted his new album The Life of Pablo along with Yeezy Season 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York yesterday. Tidal live-streamed the listening party/fashion presentation, so it hasn't taken long for the lyric "I feel like me and Taylor might have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous," which is in the track "Famous," to enrage Taylor Swift's family, friends, and fans.

Kanye has answered the outrage in a Tweet storm (listed below in photo form, due to the rapper's habit of deleting Tweets). In a numbered list, he claims Taylor approved the song, it made her laugh, and she agreed that he made her famous, even telling her anonymous dinner partner such. He also misses "that DMX feeling," for what it's worth.

However, Taylor Swift, the person, wasn't aware of the lyric according to a statement released from her camp that originally appeared on Billboard. She was never even called for approval. It reads:

Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, "I made that bitch famous."
