The Chanel runway show is always an event. In recent seasons, designer Karl Lagerfeld has erected an entire Parisian neighborhood and before that he built an entire airport terminal in the Grand Palais. Now, the designer scales back his outsized imagination — just a touch — for a runway show in a serene garden that the label built inside the Grand Palais.

The models all emerged from a central door in a wooden house that was later revealed to have a dozen or so different compartments where models were waiting.

As all Chanel shows are, this was another star-studded affair. Kendall Jenner and both Gigi and Bella Hadid walked in the show while Cara Delevingne sat in the front row with the cutest date, her dog Leo.

The daywear section of the collection consisted of several long-skirted outfits, evening wear showcased ethereal dresses paired with capes, plus there was also a floral bridal dress and a single men's look worn by Lagerfeld muse Baptiste Giabiconi.

All the models came out in the same cork-wedge, curve-heel shoes with a round toe. The models also had similar 'dos that hair stylist Sam McKnight described as a "Chanel croissant," according to Vogue.

Other celebrities in attendance include Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger, and Italian actress Monica Bellucci.
