What does Facebook inventor Mark Zuckerberg have in common with Chas TenenbaumJack Donaghy from 30 Rock, and the cartoon Doug? A closet that is either absolutely insane or absolutely genius.

In a post this afternoon, he shared a photo of the interior of his wardrobe, in which he sarcastically asks his Facebook friends what he should wear today. The sarcasm, in case it wasn't obvious, hinges on the fact that his wardrobe is really a wardrobe at all, and instead many versions of the exact same outfit.

First day back after paternity leave. What should I wear?

Having settled on the unofficial uniform of the Silicon Valley startup dude years ago — gray t-shirt, blue hoodie — he's since abandoned every other item of clothing in the world.

This, however, is a wardrobe strategy both revered by and repulsive to the fashion community, depending on whom you ask. For every Iris Apfel in her signature glasses, there's a Rihanna, who becomes a different character every day. Whether or not to declare, "To hell with trends!" and find a uniform and stick with it for eternity, fashion may never decide. One thing it can assuredly determine: Silicon Valley could use a fresher look.
