If there's anything to glean from the last two seasons of fashion week, it's that high shine is in. We're talking sparkles, lustres, and glitter — tons of it.

The all that glitters trend first caught our eye on the fall 2015 runways at places like Calvin Klein and Christopher Kane, but it has continued to pick up speed for fall 2016. BCBG Max Azria showcased glitzed out tops over metallic bandeaus, while Jill Stuart elevated the traditional turtleneck with the shimmery fabric. And if you needed another reason to obsess over Vetements, check out the glitter sock boots they premiered that are sure to be a hit come September.

Sure, tackling the sparkle trend for everyday can get a little tricky. If you're looking for something a little less in-your-face, try a pair of glitter tights from Wolford (slide 6) or striped socks from ASOS (slide 13). If you're a bit more comfortable with the shine, step it up a notch by wearing a knit turtleneck by Nikki Chasin (slide 4) under a white button down. And for the committed maximalists out there, go all out with a colorful Marni collared shirt (slide 2) with a pair of high-waisted jeans and glittery flats to match.
