Up Close With Givenchy: 15 Detail Shots to Feast On

Givenchy seems to be an outlier as one of the French fashion house without major drama this season. Dior, Lanvin, Balenciaga, and Cèline have all had their share of leadership shake-up and rumors; Givenchy and designer Riccardo Tisci are just cruising right along.

The fall collection, shown Sunday, had the same feel. Nothing perception-shattering here — a solid (if a bit theme-dependent) selection of mixed-print dresses, leopard coats, and collarless jackets, with influence from Asia and ancient Egypt.

Tisci showed over 50 looks in total and, truth be told, they're a little repetitive. So much of what's incredible about the clothes and accessories from a luxury brand like Givenchy has to be seen up close, so we pulled together nine you're-almost-right-there shots to get the feel. Click through the gallery to see glossy croc bags, snakeskin knee-high boots, lace dresses up close, plus six must-see head-to-toe looks.
