Each New York Fashion Week, fashion's leading editors, models, and celebrities congregate for the season's most anticipated collections. And when they're not sitting front row at runway shows, they're being photographed by the ubiquitous street style photogs outside. Now — in the dead of winter — the fall 2016 shows have commenced, meaning less sidewalk-greeting old friends in off-the-shoulder tops and leg-baring miniskirts and more bundling up in full-on winter gear before hopping into an Uber.

This past week, fashion's leading street style stars descended upon the city streets in everything from red berets to fluffy fur coats. Some other highlights included tons of patterned fur (a fixture on the runways this season, too), bomber jackets, shearling, and cropped denim. The fall 2016 shows of New York Fashion Week may be officially over, but we've got plenty of outfit inspiration to hold us over until next season. Well, until Paris at least.
