Gucci's press department is doing gangbusters. Critics are falling over themselves to compliment the brand, and according to a study done by Fashionista, magazine editors are apparently doing the same.

So far in 2016, Gucci has been on the most magazine covers — 10 in total, with five in January and February and five in March alone. Models have worn Gucci on issues of Harper's Bazaar, i-D, Kylie Jenner's recent Wonderland cover, and editions of Vogue in the UK and Portugal. However, reports suggest that designer Alessandro Michele hasn't been able to translate publicity into sales.

Behind Gucci are other big name brands like Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Calbin Klein, and Burberry. Those labels have six, five, five, four, and four covers under their belts, respectively. As you can see, the gap between Gucci and the rest of the pack is quite wide just a couple months into the year.

And as if Gucci didn't have enough advantages they also came out on top of our own study of most mentions in rap songs. Get your sales up, Michele! This could not be on more of a silver platter for you.
