Milan Fashion Week is home to Prada's ugly-chic, Miu Miu's quirky cuteness, and Gucci's geeky playfulness, so the street style is sure to be no different. After a short but sweet layover in London for shows like J.W. Anderson and Burberry, the jet-setting fashion set traded in their artsy patterns and sneakers for something a little more — well — Italian.

Despite the rain during day five of Milan Fashion Week, there were still plenty of standouts in the street style department. While show attendees for beloved Italian brands like Marni, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni, and Salvatore Ferragamo gathered in black ensembles with bright pops of color and embroidered denim, we're especially feeling the monochromatic color palettes that continue to surface throughout the week, from a moody navy mood moment with cropped printed trousers and matching blue socks (slide 3) to the pretty in pink layering of a turtleneck and bomber jacket (slide 10).
