Coachella's headed east this summer. The organizers behind the most hyped of music festivals will stage a brand-new event this summer in New York City's Randall's Island Park, Billboard reports.

The new NYC music festival is called Panorama, and it's happening July 22nd through 24th. There's no lineup yet, but Panorama's organizers promise "top tier musical performances, dynamic art installations, innovative technology, and some of NYC’s best local eats."

Panorama will be held seven weeks later than NYC's Governor's Ball music festival, which is also held at Randall's Island. The date was originally supposed to be two weeks after Governor's Ball. That prompted Governor's Ball organizers to start a petition to reject Panorama's earlier proposal, in fear that Panorama would eat away at Governor's Ball's ticket sales.

Now that Panorama (named after a 10,000-square-foot model of the city called Panorama of the City of New York) is officially a go, it's time to think about what this might mean for your festival wardrobe.
