From the looks of it, 2016 will be the year of Disney Channel actress turned bonafide Hollywood It girl Zendaya. Her hit television show "K.C. Undercover" may have amassed her a large fanbase of pre-teens, but her recent sartorial choices are what's catching the attention of the fashion world.

At just 19, she has sat front row at the runway shows of everyone from Kenzo to Emanuel Ungaro, rubbing shoulders with industry professionals — quite literally — and charming them along the way. This January, she's already landed a Kode Magazine cover alongside other leading, young black women in Hollywood and an editorial spread in American Vogue.

There's something about her tomboy-chic style — effortlessly combining high-end, elegant pieces with laid-back sweats and sneakers — that has captivated both designers and her more than 19 million Instagram followers alike. Here, we break down one of her looks from fall 2015 fashion week where she flaunts her signature look by mixing an ethereal, embellished dress with sleek streetwear classics.

Shoulder-Grazing Statement Earrings

Long, sweeping earrings became a trending topic on the spring 2016 runways with everyone from Rodarte to Alexander Wang joining in on the exaggerated fun. Zendaya went for a bejeweled version much like the ones seen at Oscar de la Renta and a muted makeup look to balance out their boldness.

Streetwear Classics With a Luxe Feel

The bomber jacket is the key player in this elevated streetwear look. Not only does it add a bit of boyish charm to her otherwise polished dress, but it also proves to be an ideal outerwear option that won't add to the bulk this winter. Throw in a pair of pristine, all-white high-top sneakers in lieu of the expected heels and a slew of cocktail rings to nail Zendaya's nonchalant elegance.
